Witness appeal after assault at East Boldon Metro station – Tyne and Wear

Officers investigating an assault at East Boldon Metro station are today appealing for witnesses.

At 7.45pm on Wednesday 27 January, a man was assaulted on-board a Metro train as it arrived at East Boldon station.

He was then pulled off the train and further assaulted by a group of people.

Two people have since been arrested in connection to the incident.
