Witness appeal after assault on-board train – South Yorkshire

Officers investigating an assault on-board a service travelling between Chapeltown railway station and Elsecar railway station are today appealing for witnesses.

At 1pm on Sunday 20 December, it is reported that a man approached the victim on the train and verbally abused her before assaulting her.

Officers are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed the incident or anyone with information to please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 206 of 20/12/20.
