British Transport Police is today appealing for witnesses following a report of an assault at Stanstead Airport railway station in Essex.
 
The incident happened at 3.55pm on Saturday 7 November within the underground area of the station between the ticket barrier and the London-bound platform.
 
The assault occurred between a man and a woman.
 
Officers are appealing for information from anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident.
