Appeal for witnesses after group spotted with a knife on-board service – Surrey

Detectives are today appealing for witnesses after an incident on-board a service travelling out of Central London.

On Thursday 5 November, at just after 5.30pm, British Transport Police received a call stating that a group of men were brandishing a knife on-board a train.

This incident is reported to have taken place as the service travelled through Epsom, Surrey.

The group were later arrested by Surrey Police for being in possession of an offensive weapon.

They are appealing to anyone who was on-board the service that may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with any information which may assist their investigation.
