Appeal after racially aggravated public order on a train between Liverpool Central and Hunts Cross

British Transport Police are appealing for further information after a racially aggravated public order offence on a train from Liverpool.
The incident happened at around 6.28pm on Wednesday 22 July on the Liverpool Central to Hunts Cross service.
A man is reported to have been verbally abused by another man before two women intervened.
The suspect, a 60-year-old man from Liverpool, has been reported for the offence.
Officers would like to speak to the two women who intervened to gain a further understanding of the incident.
Anyone who knows them, or who witnessed the offence, is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.
