Detectives investigating a serious public order offence at Derby station are today releasing CCTV images in connection.

On 5 September at around 7pm, a police officer stopped two men at Derby station for travelling between Nottingham and Derby without valid tickets. The two men then became abusive and threatening towards the officer.

One of the men attempted to strike the officer with his skateboard before throwing a floor sign at him.

Officers believe the men in the CCTV images may have information which could assist their investigation.
