Appeal for witnesses following railway detonators theft - Rotherham

Officers investigating the theft of four railway detonators from the Holmes Lane area of Rotherham are today appealing for witnesses.

On 23 August between the hours of 12am and 7.30am, four railway detonators were stolen from a stretch of railway track in Holmes Lane, Rotherham.

The detonators have the potential to cause serious harm if tampered with.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information, to get in touch to assist the investigation.
