Appeal for witnesses following assault - Scotland

Officers investigating an assault on a train to Westerton in Scotland are today appealing for witnesses. 
On 15 August at around 4.40pm, three teenage girls assaulted a female who was travelling alone on a train from Milngavie to Westerton. 
The girls left the train at Westerton. 
The victim is believed to have sustained abrasions to her face, however has still not come forward to police. 
Officers are appealing for the victim, or anyone with information, to get in touch to assist the investigation.
