Witness appeal after man assaulted at Victoria Underground Station – London

British Transport Police is today appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted at Victoria Underground Station.

The incident happened shortly after 8pm on Saturday 13 June.

It is reported a group of young men assaulted another young man who was waiting on the Northbound Victoria line platform. The group knocked the man to the floor and attacked him, leaving him with serious injuries including broken ribs and wounds to his head and face.

The group of men are described to have been aged between 16 and 20, black or of mixed race, and wearing tracksuits at the time of the incident.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. Anyone who has information which may help their investigation is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.
