Assault appeal Birmingham to Wolverhampton

British Transport Police are today releasing a CCTV image following a report of an assault on a train between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton station.

The incident happened between 2am and 2.20am on Saturday 29 February.

A man was attacked after he asked a group of men, who were sat with their legs blocking the aisle, to move. He was then punched and pushed and suffered damage to his teeth.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who knows him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.
