British Transport Police are today releasing a CCTV image after a wallet was reportedly stolen contacting £1,000 in cash on a train between Manchester and Darwen in Lancashire.
 
The incident happened between 2.44pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday 22 April.
 
Bank cards in the wallet were then used to buy items from a service station.
 
Officers would like to speak to the man in the images who may have information that could help their investigation.
 
Anyone who knows him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.
 
In both cases, quote reference number 150 of 23/04/20.
