British Transport Police are today releasing a CCTV image following a report of a common assault on a train at Grimsby station in North East Lincolnshire.
The incident happened at 3.40pm on Tuesday 28 April.
The victim was coughed at, verbally abused and hit with a can after she told the suspect not to sit so close as it was an empty carriage.
The victim suffered slight reddening to her wrist where she was hit with the can.
Officers would like to speak to the woman in the image who may have information that could help their investigation.
