British Transport Police have released an image as part of their investigation into a  racially aggravated assault at Manchester Piccadilly Station.
The incident took place on Monday, February 10 shortly before 2pm.
A man was heard to make racist slurs directed at his victim before throwing a cup of water in her face, in a completely unprovoked attack.
Earlier, the same man had been witnessed by station staff making racist comments as he walked through the station.
Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 239 of 10/02.
