Woman touched inappropriately on train between Swansea and Cardiff

British Transport Police are today releasing a CCTV image after a sexual offence on a train travelling between Swansea and Cardiff.

The incident happened on Saturday 21 December 2019 between 10.20pm and 10.30pm.

A man is reported to have boarded a Transport for Wales service from Swansea to Cardiff Central at 10.20pm. He boarded the rear of the 2nd carriage with three others and began having a sexually explicit conversation in front of fellow passengers.

It is reported that he then touched a woman inappropriately while she stood in the aisle of the train. When challenged by the woman, the man is reported to have made aggressive and offensive comments.

The woman got off the train at Neath railway station and the man is believed to have continued his journey to Cardiff Central railway station.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who may have information that could help their investigation.
