Hibernian fans assaulted at Edinburgh Waverley station

British Transport Police are today appealing for information to trace the victims of an assault at Edinburgh Waverley station.
The incident happened at 9.30pm on Sunday 1 March.
A man is reported to have been goading Hibernian football fans. 
He then jumped on one fan, causing both to fall to the floor. Due to the fall the suspect suffered a broken kneecap and femur.
The suspect is then reported to have assaulted another fan.
Officers have identified the suspect but require the witness accounts of the Hibernian fans who were targeted.
They would especially like to speak to the two fans who were assaulted.
