British Transport Police are today releasing an image following a report of racist abuse at Colchester North railway station, Essex.

The incident happened at around 9am on Thursday 6 February.

A man could not exit the barriers due to an issue with his bank card. He is then reported to have racially abused a member of rail staff at the station.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the images who may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who knows him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 135 of 06/02/20.
