British Transport Police are today releasing a CCTV image after a report of assault and criminal damage at Barking railway station, London.
 
The incident happened between 9.40am and 10.20am on Thursday 6 February.
 
A man entered a phone shop at Barking station. He is then reported to have ripped CCTV cameras from the ceiling, tackled staff and smashed the shop’s front window.
 
More than a thousand pounds worth of damage is reported to have been caused.
 
Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who may have information that could help their investigation.
 
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.
