Witness appeal after sexual assault on train from Manchester Airport to Cleethorpes

British Transport Police are today appealing for witnesses after a report of a sexual assault on a train from Manchester Airport to Cleethorpes station.
 
The incident happened at 2pm on Tuesday 21 January.
 
A man is reported to have sat next to a woman and inappropriately touched her on the thigh. The offence happened in carriage B.
 
The victim then said loudly she would call the police if he touched her again.
 
The suspect then left the train at Sheffield.
 
The man has since been identified, however officers want to speak to anyone who was in the carriage at the time and may have witnessed the offence.
