British Transport Police are today appealing for further information after a shelter was set on fire at Hatfield and Stainforth station, South Yorkshire.

The incident is believed to have happened between 11pm on Monday 20 January and 6.15am on Tuesday 21 January.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information that could help identify those responsible for causing the damage.

Anyone with information, or who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time, can contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 133 of 21/01/20.
