British Transport Police are today releasing a CCTV image after a woman had her teeth broken during an attempted robbery in Croydon.
 
The incident happened at 11.30am on Tuesday 4 February at Reeves Corner Tram Stop.
 
A man is reported to have tried ripping the victim’s bag from her hands, causing her to fall over and suffer injuries to her face and teeth.
 
Witnesses challenged the man and he ran away empty handed towards West Croydon railway station where he is believed to have boarded a train.
 
Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who may have information that can help their investigation.
