British Transport Police are today releasing CCTV images after an assault which began on a Piccadilly Line train on the London Underground.
 
The incident started at 4.45pm on Tuesday 3 December as the train passed between Holborn and Caledonian Road stations.
 
A man acted angrily to a woman on the service, reportedly hitting her with a newspaper and pinning her to her seat to stop her from leaving.
 
The incident continued in the ticket hall of Caledonian Road station where the man argued with the victim and a witness.
 
 
The suspect then forced his way out of the station, pushing an elderly passenger to the floor at he left.
 
Anyone who knows him to asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.
