Train guard threatened by man with suspected stun device – Marden

Officers investigating an incident, where a train guard was threatened by a man at Marden station, are today appealing for information. 

The incident happened at approximately 8.44pm pm on 13 November. As the train pulled into Marden station, the member of staff challenged a man for having an invalid ticket. 

The man then pulled out a device and arced it at the victim in a threatening manner. The train departed Marden with the suspect boarding a later service travelling to Ashford International. 

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate.
