Assaults on train and at Edinburgh Park station – Scotland

British Transport Police are today appealing for information after two women were attacked.
 
The incidents happened between 12.35pm and 12.50pm on Friday 29 November.
 
The first happened on a service between Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Queen Street. 
 
A man grabbed a woman and attempted to pull her from her seat.
 
He was removed from the service at Edinburgh Park station.
 
At the station, he assaulted another woman at the ticket barrier near the station exit. He grabbed her by the arm.
 
The suspect is described as white, 5ft 5, of a slim build, aged in his late 50s to early 60s, with white or grey hair that was long at the back, thick scruffy stubble, and blue eyes.
 
He was wearing reading glasses, a dark green jacket, dark trousers and black gloves.
