Passenger punched multiple times to the head – Hull to Manchester Piccadilly

Do you know who this man is? 

Officers investigating an assault on a train travelling from Hull to Manchester Piccadilly, would like to speak with him in connection. 

The incident happened at approximately 9.22pm on 25 July. During the journey, the victim had seen a man having a verbal altercation with the train manager. 

Following this altercation, the unknown man came and sat opposite the victim. The man then started talking with the victim, however he became increasingly more aggressive as the train traveled to Manchester. 

On the approach to Moseley station, the man became violent, assaulting the victim a number of times by punching him to the head. The man was ejected from the train at Mossley station. 

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate.
