British Transport Police are today releasing CCTV images after an attempted robbery at Addlestone station, Surrey.
 
The incident happened at 4.20pm on Thursday 5 September. 
 
A school boy is reported to have walked into the station where he was attacked by two teenagers. They attempted to steal his rucksack.
 
A member of the public intervened and the two suspects fled the station.
 
Officers would like to speak to the two pictured in the images who may have information that could help their investigation.
 
Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference number 1900077617.
