Do you know who this man is?

Officers investigating an incident where a man was sexually assaulted on board a train travelling between Didcot and Reading would like to speak with him in connection.

The incident happened at approximately 3.45pm on 5 September.

The victim, a man in his late teens, was approached by another man at Didcot Parkway and asked the victim if the train was heading towards London.

Both men then joined a GWR service. As the train was approaching Reading station, the man then approached the victim again and groped him with both hands. He then exposed himself. The victim quickly left the service at Reading, but was left understandably shocked by this man's invasive behaviour.

The suspect remained on the train, leaving at Paddington.

Officers believe the man shown on this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate. If you know who he is, contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 386 of 05/09/2019.

Or you can ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
