Witness appeal after assault - Oxford

Officers are appealing for witnesses following an assault at Oxford train station.

On 19 September at around 8.30pm, a man assaulted a woman at the station.

The victim suffered bruising to her face.

A 39-year-old man from Oxford appeared at court on 21 September charged with actual bodily harm, breaching a restraining order and a public order offence in connection to the incident.

Officers believe several members of the public witnessed the incident and came to the assistance of the woman shortly afterwards, who have not yet spoken to police.
