Appeal after interference with train equipment results in £3k disruption costs – Reading

British Transport Police officers would like to speak to this man after on board train equipment was switched off causing the unit to be taken out of service.
The interference resulted in £3,000 in disruption costs while the system was fixed.
The incident happened between Reading and London Paddington sometime around 1.30am on Monday, 8 July.

Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who knows him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference number 1900071867.
Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and give the same reference.
