Appeal after threats on train at London Bridge - 12 April

BTP officers investigating threats on board a train between London Bridge and Beckenham station are appealing for further information.

The incident happened at around 8.28pm on Friday 12 April.

An intoxicated man is reported to have boarded the rear of a train at London Bridge. He was with a woman and was waving a flag. He began acting aggressively to passengers on the train and made references to Bloody Sunday.

He is then reported to have threatened a passenger after being challenged.

The man, a 29-year-old from Beckenham, has been arrested on suspicion of nuisance behaviour. He was been released while officers carry out further enquiries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, especially a passenger who is reported to have filmed the incident on their phone.
