BTP officers are today releasing CCTV images after an attempt to attack a security guard at Solihull station, West Midlands.
 
The incident happened at 10.45pm on Monday 17 June.
 
Two men are reported to have entered the station and attempted to steal a bicycle by cutting its lock with a pair of bolt cutters.
 
When challenged by the security guard they both became verbally abusive with one trying to hit the victim with a belt. No contact was made.
 
They left when the guard phoned the police.
 
Officers believe the two men in the images may have information that could help their investigation.
