BTP officers are today releasing CCTV images after a number of bike thefts at stations in Merseyside.

The incidents all happened on Wednesday 10 July.

The first at Seaforth and Litherland station at 12pm, the second at Hall Road station at 2pm and the third at Blundellsands and Crosby station at 4pm.

Six bikes were taken, two from each station.

Investigators believe the two men in the images may have information that could help their investigation.

They would also like to speak to a third man who is suspected to have been involved in the theft at Blundellsands and Crosby station.

He is described as white, aged in his early 20s, with short ginger hair and of a very slim build. He was wearing a black tracksuit and black Nike trainers with a white logo.

Anyone who knows them is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference number 1900059723.
