Appeal for victim to come forward following attempted robbery - London

Detectives investigating an attempted robbery on the London Underground yesterday (22/07) are urging the victim to come forward and assist with their enquiries.

At around 4pm, an off-duty BTP officer witnessed an attempted robbery on board a southbound Northern Line train, where the male victim was threatened with violence.

A 15-year-old boy from Walsall was arrested by the officer and removed from the train at Waterloo. 

While the man was being arrested, the victim, believed to be in his teens, left the station on the train without leaving their details.

Officers are now urging the victim to come forward and provide their account of what happened.
