Detectives investigating an assault on board a train pulling into Chelmsford station are looking to identify him in connection.

The assault happened on board the 22.30pm Liverpool Street to Norwich service, at approximately 11pm on 27 June.

As the train was approaching Chelmsford, the victim had politely asked another passenger to pick up their litter as they were leaving the train. Another passenger on board the train took offence to this and became aggressive and threatening.

The victim once again asked the passenger to take their rubbish, however the suspect once again threatened the victim – eventually punching him twice in the face.
