Man fractures elbow after being pushed off train at Herne Hill station - South London

BTP officers are today releasing CCTV images after a man was pushed off a train at Herne Hill station in South London.
 
The incident happened between 6.15pm and 6.25pm on Wednesday 5 June.
 
Following an argument, a man is reported to have pushed the victim off a stationary train as it waiting at Herne Hill.
 
The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered a fractured elbow which required surgery. He was helped back onto the train by other passengers and the suspect was asked to leave.
 
The suspect was last seen on the platform at Herne Hill station.
 
The incident happened on the 6.13pm London Victoria to Beckenham Junction service. 
 
Officers believe the man in the images may have information which could help their investigation.
 
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 275 of 09/06/19.
 
They would also like to speak to those on the train who witnessed the assault.
