BTP officers are today releasing images after a couple were spat at and racially abused on board a train between Blackpool and Manchester airport.
 
The incident happened at 6.30pm on Wednesday 12 June.
 
The suspect is reported to have boarded the train at Manchester Oxford Road and entered the toilet.
 
Waiting passengers eventually became frustrated with the length of time he remained in the toilet and upon his exit an argument began.
 
The suspect then racially abused a man and woman and threatened their children. He spat in the face of the female before leaving the train.
 
Officers believe the man in the images may have information that could help their investigation.
