Appeal after ticket dodger hits member of station staff with belt – Croydon

Do you know this man? Police would like to speak to him after a member of staff at East Croydon railway station was hit with a belt by a ticket dodger.

A man pushed his way through the barrier and when challenged about not having a ticket, he removed his belt and hit a member of staff with it. He then punched the victim twice in the face, causing injuries to his cheek. 

The assault happened at 10.30am on 15 March. 

Officers investigating what happened have uncovered an image of a man they would like to speak to about the incident, and are asking for the public’s help to identify him.
