BTP officers investigating the damage of a ceramic poppy at York railway station are no longer appealing for witnesses.

The incident happened at 9.28pm on Saturday 23 March.

A man is reported to have approached the British Legion Poppy Wreath and snapped it in half.

He has since been identified and will now attend a police station for an interview.
Officers would like to thanks those who assisted this investigation by sharing the appeal.
