Officers investigating an assault at Warrington Bank Quay, where a member of rail staff was spat in the face, are looking to identify him in connection. 

The assault happened at approximately 3.20pm on 26 March, the victim, a guard on board a Transport for Wales service was challenging a man following a ticket dispute. 

The man then left the train at Warrington Bank Quay, when leaving he spat in the face of the guard. 

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate. If you know who he is then contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 121 of 26/03/2019.
