BTP officers are today releasing CCTV images after sexual and aggressive comments were made to a woman on board a train in Wales.

The incident happened between 7.38pm and 8.30pm on Thursday 7 March on a service between Merthyr Tydfil and Pontypridd.

The man sat opposite the victim and made various comments of a sexual and aggressive nature causing her alarm and distress.

He then tried to grab her hand upon leaving the train and also grabbed a female train guard. 

Officers believes the man in the images may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who knows the identity of the man is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 1900018316.
