BTP Officers are today releasing CCTV images after a teenager was hit with a bottle at Woolwich Arsenal station.

The incident happened at 8.38pm on Friday 15 February.

A man is reported to have approached the victim and hit him with a glass bottle at the entrance to the station. 

The victim then attempted to fight the attacker off by grabbing a chair from a nearby coffee shop.

The fight continued until the victim ran off towards the mainline station platforms. The suspect then walked off with a second person towards the DLR.

The victim suffered a cut to his head.

Officers believe the man in the images may have more information about the incident.
