Man robbed on board Birmingham-bound train

Officers investigating a robbery on board a Birmingham-bound train are appealing for more information.

The incident happened between 10.39pm and 11.07pm on Tuesday 5 March.

The victim, a man in his 30s, is reported to have boarded the train at Walsall station, shortly after he had an argument with two men.

The two men then chased the victim through the train, before assaulting him and stealing items from his pockets.

All three left the train at Birmingham New Street station.

The first suspect is described as black, 6ft, aged around 20-years-old and of medium build. He was wearing all black, black trainers and a black puffer jacket with the hood up. 

The second is described as black, around 5ft 9, around 18-years-old and of slim build. He was wearing a woolly hat and a dark blue or black jacket.
