BTP officers are today releasing a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries into a report of threatening behaviour on board a train between Glasgow Queen Street and Helensburgh Central stations.

The incident happened at 7.33pm on Friday 14 December.

A man is reported to have brandished a weapon and threatened passengers.

The suspect then left the train at Helensburgh Central station.

The same man was later seen on a train between Dumbarton Central and Balloch stations.

He was last seen walking in the direction of Station Road towards Back Street, Renton.

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
