Man arrested after reports of sexual touching and racist comments on train to Bristol

BTP officers are appealing for further information after a report of sexual touching and racist comments on a train to Bristol.

The incident happened between 2.55pm and 5.40pm on Monday 25 February on board a train from Weymouth to Bristol Temple Meads.

A man is reported to have touched a teenage girl’s leg and made racist comments about another passenger.

A 45-year-old man from Bristol has been arrested on suspicion of the offences, he has since been released under investigation.

Officers would like to speak to any other passengers who witnessed the incident.
