UPDATE: Man stabbed at Barking and found at Becontree Underground

Officers are appealing for information after a man was found at Becontree Underground Station late yesterday evening (Friday 22 February 2019), having been stabbed.

At 11.25pm BTP officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to Becontree Underground Station, to a man who had been stabbed. It is believed the man was attacked outside Barking Station and then got on the train to Becontree.

The London Ambulance Service took the victim to hospital, where he is being treated for what is believed to be life changing injuries.

Police are asking that anyone who was at either Barking or Becontree Underground Station late yesterday evening and saw anything suspicious, to please get in touch.
