£700 stolen from pensioner at Morden station – London Underground

BTP officers are today releasing CCTV images after a pensioner had £700 in cash stolen at Morden station in London.

The incident happened at 12.48pm on Friday 25 January.

Two women are reported to have walked behind the victim, a man in his 70s, slashed open a shopping bag he was carrying and removed an envelope carrying the cash.

They then immediately left the station.

Officers believe the women in the images may have information that could help their ongoing investigation.

Anyone who recognises the women, or who has more information about the incident, is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 280 of 25/01/19.
