Man struck by train at Adderley Park rail station – Birmingham

British Transport Police were called at 1.16pm on Wednesday 16 January to Adderley Park railway station in Birmingham following a report of a man being struck by a train.

The man, from Birmingham and aged 55-years-old, sadly died at the scene.

A second man, from Birmingham and aged 57-years-old, was also struck by the train and suffered head injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
