Phone stolen and used to make fraudulent payments – Sheffield Midland

Do you know who these people are? 

Officers investigating a phone theft and then the subsequent fraudulent use of the victims Google Pay account, are looking to identify them in connection. 

At approximately 7.48pm on 6 December, the victim dropped his mobile phone near the taxi rank at Sheffield Midland station. A short while later he called the phone and a woman answered, they then agreed to exchange the phone at Sheffiled Midland station. 

However, this meet did not happen and the phone’s Google Pay was used at a number of shops around Sheffield.
