Appeal for witnesses after teenager assaulted - Sheffield

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted on board a train from Sheffield to Barnsley.

On 10 November at approximately 2.20pm, an altercation took place on board between the boy and a group of male passengers between Meadowhall and Chapeltown. 

The boy was hit in the face and suffered facial injuries.

Officers would like to speak to any members of the public who witnessed the incident.
