Glass bottles thrown following large disorder on Cardiff Central train

Did you witnesses a large disorder on board a stationary train at Cardiff Central station, involving two groups of football fans? 

At 7.45pm on 8 December, a fight broke out between two different groups of football fans from Cardiff City and Swansea City football club. There was a heated verbal exchange and glass bottles were subsequently thrown. 

Police officers were on board the service and separated the violence. Three arrests were made. 

Officers are today appealing for witnesses to the violence to get in touch. If you were on board the train at the time of the disorder and saw what happened, please make contact.

Three men, a 31-year-old man from Ogmore Vale, a 26-year-old man from Bridgend and a 31-year-old man from Bridgend were each arrested on suspicion of affray. They’ve been released under police investigation while enquiries continue.
