Detectives investigating a sexual assault at Smethwick Galton Bridge station are today releasing CCTV images in connection.

Shortly after 5pm on 24 October, a woman left a train service and was walking up the stairs at the station. As she climbed the steps, a man touched the woman inappropriately below the waist for a number of seconds.

The woman then challenged the man, however he then looked into her eyes, licking his lips.

Detectives believe the man shown in this CCTV image has information which could help them investigate.
